Privacy Policy
1. Summary
LinkFlow is a local-first productivity extension. It helps you extract, review, and open URLs from selected or pasted text inside Chrome.
We do not operate a backend that receives your selected text, URL lists, inbox contents, page contents, or browsing history. Core features work without an account.
2. Data processed on your device
Depending on how you use LinkFlow, the extension may store locally:
- Extracted URLs and normalized forms
- Inbox items, session history, workspaces, and settings
- Queue / batch metadata (including tab IDs created by LinkFlow)
- License or entitlement metadata you choose to activate
Stored using Chrome extension storage APIs on your device
(chrome.storage.local and session storage for temporary review payloads.
3. Data we do not collect
- We do not upload your URL lists to LinkFlow servers
- We do not upload selected text or page HTML
- We do not sell personal data
- We do not use analytics that transmit actual URLs or selected text
4. Permissions
- storage — save inbox, history, and settings locally
- contextMenus — right-click actions on selected text
- tabs / tabGroups — open, detect, group, undo LinkFlow tabs
- activeTab + scripting — read selection/links when you invoke LinkFlow
- alarms — keep batch opening reliable if the service worker sleeps
5. Payments and licenses (optional)
LinkFlow does not require payment in the current release. If paid plans are added later, checkout may be processed by a third-party payment provider. Their privacy policies would apply to payment data.
License activation may send only a license key to a verification endpoint — not your URL lists or selected text.
6. Uninstall feedback
If you uninstall LinkFlow, Chrome may open our feedback page. Any feedback you submit there is voluntary and used only to improve the product.
7. Children’s privacy
LinkFlow is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published.
